Important Note on Practical Training:
Please be aware that this is a blended learning qualification. While the theoretical components can be studied online through our platform, the course includes a mandatory and significant practical driving assessment component. This hands-on training will take place at a designated UK-based training facility with certified instructors. Upon enrolment, our team will contact you to schedule your practical training sessions.

A full UK driving licence is a prerequisite for this course. Holding a C1 category licence is highly recommended for driving most standard ambulances.

4. Pre- and Post-Driving Vehicle Checks and Procedures
Master the essential daily and weekly checks required to ensure the ambulance is safe, roadworthy, and operationally ready at all times.
5. Risk Assessment and Hazard Perception in Emergency Situations
Develop heightened situational awareness and the ability to dynamically assess risks, anticipate the actions of other road users, and mitigate potential dangers.
6. Navigational Skills and Route Planning
